Locally owned and operated, IDS provides roll-off dumpster rentals for both residential and commercial projects, with sizes ranging from 10-yard containers for smaller cleanouts to 40-yard dumpsters designed for significantly larger jobs. Many of their smaller and mid-sized options are specifically designed to be driveway-friendly.
Convenience is a major part of the experience as well. Customers can book online, and rentals generally include up to seven days before additional daily charges apply. IDS serves Indianapolis as well as Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Anderson, Westfield, Zionsville, Fortville and communities in between — and notes that it can frequently accommodate projects outside its normal service area.

More Than Dumpsters
What we really admire about Indianapolis Dumpster Service isn’t just their business model, but how they use their business to help their own community.
Earlier this year, IDS introduced Charity Dumpsters, an initiative designed to turn cleanups into opportunities to give back.
With the help of Charity Dumpsters, they hosted the first ever “Community Dump Day” on July 11th. That day, residents were invited to bring unwanted items from their homes, garages, basements and properties to be disposed of for a fee. Instead of simply treating the event as another source of business, Indianapolis Dumpster Service pledged 100% of the proceeds to The Feeding Team, an organization that helps address food insecurity through free, confidential, 24/7 outdoor food pantries throughout Central Indiana. The event was incredibly successful, and led to a second “Community Dump Day” being hosted on August 15th.
It was a clever idea with a meaningful outcome: help neighbors clear out their homes while helping other neighbors put food on the table.
Showing Up When Broad Ripple Needed Help
That community-first mindset became even more apparent following the devastating flooding that affected Broad Ripple and other Indianapolis neighborhoods in late August 2026.
In the aftermath, Indianapolis Dumpster Service placed dumpsters in affected communities to give residents a way to clear water-damaged belongings and debris from their homes.
Through Charity Dumpsters, they also began raising money to keep that effort going. Rather than viewing disaster cleanup solely as a business opportunity, the team used equipment they already had and a service they already knew how to provide to address an immediate need.
For us, that matters.
When something goes wrong with your home, finding someone to perform a service is only part of the equation. You want people who understand that there’s a person, a family and a community on the other side of the project.
